At Carter’s Play Place, parties and events are a breeze! We have several options including Private Parties where you have the whole place to yourself. We want your party to be fun and stress-free! You can book online, over the phone, or in person. Learn more about parties below.
While we do not have age restrictions for parties, many children 6 and older may lose interest in our playground. Please consider your child’s age and interest in our playground before booking a party. We do have many guests who are toddler age.

We have the Ocean Room, Space Room, and Jungle Room! Each room is decorated for the theme. You are welcome to add your own décor to the room, but we ask that our décor is left where it is.
We can fit around 24 kids in a room, but it may start to feel crowded. We do have adult folding chairs available, but adults may have to stand. Interested in having a big event? Consider hosting a private party!
It changes over time! Typically, they are fidget toys, light up toys, figurines, bubbles, squishy toys, etc. Feel free to add your own gifts to our bags or bring your own bags entirely!
Our parties are pretty laid back. We do not have hosts for the party, and most of the time kids come and go as they please from the party room and the playroom. It is up to you if and when you want everyone in the room at the same time to sing, eat, and open presents.
Usually, the party room will be ready for you about 30 minutes before your party starts. We may still be finishing the clean-up process from the previous party, but you are welcome to start bringing in your party items while we are in there!
Our team is small, and we want to make sure we have enough time to get the room clean and ready for the next party to come in. We ask that you remove all belongings by the end of your time, but let us handle trash and clean up. Don’t forget that you can stay and play until we close at 5pm, or 8pm if you have a private party! We do include a $50 fee if the room is not emptied of your things and ready for us to clean at the end of your two hours.
When you book the party, there is a required $100 deposit. This goes towards the final payment, which is completed during or at the end of your party. The deposit is non-refundable.
No parties are permitted without a reservation as we need to leave the lobby open for all guests.
We will send you an email soon after booking and then a text the week before your party with information about parties. You can respond to that email or text with updated numbers! We will adjust the number of actual guests during your party. We ask that there not be a significant increase in the number of attendees the week of your party. There may be a $25 fee associated with this, as we need time to prepare.
